An answer

I talked to Bill Wilson over at Camelback Coaching and he said that 30% of the time you can do everything right and still have your body break down nutrician-wise. He said that you can pace yourself correctly, take in the right nutrients, drink the right amount of water, and still your digestive system shuts down and you walk the marathon.

That would definitely suck!

While I don't like the idea of bringing the "X" factor into this I don't mind the odds.
