It's been a few good weeks for me, workout-wise. I'm finally back in the swing with riding. Running is coming along, not as fast as I hoped, but what else is new for this time of year.
This morning I was carpooling but we had to leave a little late so I got started running around 6:00 am instead of 5:00 am. Normally I get the sun in my eyes on the last mile or two, today it was up and sort of baked my back and head for the first 4 miles so I felt really wiped out at the end and skipped one of my intervals.
Big news! I am now passing on the little I have learned about training to others. I am designing training programs for Keith, Vicki, and Katie for the PF Chang Half Marathon in January. Vicki says Keith is going to run the full. We'll see.
I'm picking up a treadmill for Katie this week. She probably won't be able to get out of the house to run in the mornings and it's too hot in the afternoons. Maybe I'll start a new blog.
